While I am participating in this workshop primarily as an observer, I hope to come back to the Transatlantic Encounters website with a few updates. I would like to improve my knowledge of Omeka, add some new content, and correct a few omissions. I would also like to figure out how to link an interactive bibliography to the site from an existing bibliography in zotero. Beyond this workshop I would like to consider using a tool such as Neatline to correct the chronological discrepancies in the maps. As it stands now the maps condense information that was chronologically disparate, giving a false sense of synchronicity.
